What is a Digital Asset Passport?

Why every serialised product you sell deserves its own lifetime record — and what goes into it.

A Digital Asset Passport is the single record of one physical product from the day it is received into stock until it is retired. In Raviva One Cloud it is created automatically when a serialised product is delivered to a customer.

The passport does not copy data. It links to the original purchase receipt, sales order, delivery challan, invoice, installation report, warranty records and every service visit, so the history is always consistent with your books.

Each asset receives a QR label. The label carries only a random reference — never customer details. Scanning it in the Raviva One app shows the asset only to people who are allowed to see it: the assigned engineer, authorised staff, or the customer who owns it.

For service teams this means the right coverage decision at the first visit: whether the compressor is still under warranty, how many free services remain, and whether an AMC applies.
